  1. "Where I'm From" is a beautiful way to describe your lifestyle. It is very unique at how George Lyon came up with a such a simple but intriguing poem. I like how it is not very complicated to make either. A girl as young as eight years old wrote her own "Where I'm From" poem and even incorporated a video with it as well. When you read and listen to the poems, you can get a feel of where the writer is coming from. The poems describe whether they live in a rural, urban, or suburban community. They describe what the writer's personality is like and the adventures they did. I liked of the poems that I read. It was interesting to see the different backgrounds of each writer through a simple poem. It is amazing how the "Where I'm From" outline spread all around the world, to young and to old. I think it should continue because it is a great idea.
